There can be all kinds of pain; physical, emotional, mental. Pain can be based on the real or imagined. It can cripple or be lived with. All in all, in order for it to be a help, a compass for where one might be leaning into for growth or awareness, it must be noticed.
This does not mean I have to understand my pain entirely. I am underlining this. It means, to acknowledge it is the step to doing something about it.
